Why we started
A few years ago our family had to sell a house we'd inherited, and we needed to sell it quickly. We expected it to be hard emotionally. We didn't expect the buyers to make it harder.
We got offers that were a fraction of what the house was worth. One buyer agreed to a price, then tried to cut it days before closing. Others stopped returning calls the moment we asked questions. We got through it, but it stuck with us. If it felt that way for us, what was it like for a family with even fewer options and less time?
That's how Brickyard was born: to be the buyer we wished we'd found, with fair offers in writing, straight answers, and closings that happen when we say they will. People first, then the transaction.
